Cancellation Policy
This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancelling a service booking made through the Hourdeal online platform and app ("Platform"). By using the Platform and booking services, you agree to comply with this Cancellation Policy. Please read it carefully.
1. Cancellation by the User
1.1. Cancellation Window: Users have the right to cancel a service booking at any time before the scheduled service start time.
1.2. Cancellation Charges: If a user cancels a booking within 24 hours of the scheduled service start time, cancellation charges will apply. The cancellation charges will be equal to the service provider's hourly rate for one hour of service.
1.3. Cancellation Process: To cancel a booking, users should log in to their Hourdeal account, access the booking details, and inform us to cancel the booking via Help button located on top right corner.
2. Cancellation by the Service Provider
2.1. Service Provider Cancellation: In the event that a service provider needs to cancel a booking, they should notify the user as soon as possible through the Platform's messaging system or other agreed-upon communication channels. No Cancellation Charges will be applicable and refund will be processed
2.2. Alternative Arrangements: If a service provider cancels a booking, Hourdeal will make reasonable efforts to assist the user in finding a suitable replacement service provider. However, Hourdeal does not guarantee the availability or suitability of alternative service providers.
3. Refunds
3.1. Refund Eligibility: Refunds will be processed for eligible cancellations according to this Cancellation Policy.
3.2. Cancellation Charges: Cancellation charges deducted from the refund will be based on the user's cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled service start time, as stated in section 1.2 of this policy.
3.3. Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed in accordance with Hourdeal's standard refund procedures. Please allow a reasonable processing time for the refund to be credited to your original payment method.
4. Exceptions
4.1. Extenuating Circumstances: In certain cases of extenuating circumstances, such as emergencies, natural disasters, or unavoidable events, Hourdeal may review and consider waiving cancellation charges. Users must provide valid documentation or evidence to support their request.
5. Changes to the Cancellation Policy
5.1. Amendment: Hourdeal reserves the right to modify or update this Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised policy on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after the changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Cancellation Policy.
